Sempervivums are among the easiest succulents to grow:

• Thrive in gritty, well-draining soil
• Prefer containers with drainage holes
• Produce offsets (“chicks”) that spread and multiply over time
• Can be left to cluster naturally or separated and replanted

They perform best outdoors in full sun, which enhances color and keeps rosettes compact. While they can grow indoors in bright light, they may stretch or lose color over time.
