Ginnie's Delight is a charming Sempervivum hybridized in the U.S. by Helen E. Payne in 1974. Its pointed rosettes are a vivid red tipped in green, lined with delicate white cilia — the red is at its most intense in early spring, then gradually fades to a warm salmon tone through summer, creating a beautiful seasonal color display.
Like all Sempervivums, Ginnie's Delight naturally produces offsets (“chicks”) around the mother rosette that can be left to form clusters or removed to transplant or share. Pink flowers appear in summer through fall.
