Vintage Hallmark 1993 Lighting the Flame, The Olympic Spirit Flicker Light and Music Christmas Ornament. A unique ornament! Recalls the breathtaking moment during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games when the Olympic Flame is lighted.
For four weeks, thousands of runners have participated in cross-country relays to bring a lighted torch from the valley of Olympia, Greece, where the Ancient Games were held. Now the final runner enters the stadium, circles the track, and lights the Olympic Flame, The Games can begin!
The light flickers automatically and continuously once you insert it into your light strand using the connected cord. To start the music, press the button located on the ornament. Music will stop when the tune is finished. This ornament is in fantastic condition with normal wear from use and storage, no chips or cracks. The box is in great condition.
