Sempervivum ‘Pacific Shadows’ – Hen & Chicks
Bring rich, changing color to your succulent garden with Sempervivum ‘Pacific Shadows’. This beautiful Hen & Chicks variety forms pink to deep red rosettes with a distinctive copper sheen, creating a colorful display that really stands out in rock gardens and containers.
‘Pacific Shadows’ produces lots of offsets, or “chicks,” on short stolons, eventually forming a tidy, colorful cluster. Leave the chicks attached to create a full grouping, or remove and transplant them to expand your collection or share with friends.
Like other Sempervivum, ‘Pacific Shadows’ is extremely frost hardy and can happily overwinter under a blanket of snow. Provide plenty of outdoor sunlight to encourage the best coloration and maintain compact, tight rosettes.
