Sempervivum Thunder,
Historic garden plant with succulent foliage. Forms gray-green velvety rosettes tinged with lavender-rose. Rose color becomes more pronounced in winter. Hens Chicks grow best in well-drained gravelly soil that is not wet in winter. Drought tolerance. Requires little water once established. Great in containers and rock gardens.
Well rooted plant growing and shipped in a 3.5" OR 4" pot! Some soil will be removed for shipping.
Sempervivum Thunder (aka Skrocki) has a wide, open rosette with silvery green leaves with a hint of pink. Turns light purple in cold weather.
Like most Hens Chicks Semperivum Thunder needs lots of sunlight to show their best colors and maintain a tight rosette form.
Plant in well draining soil.
