Margaret "Meg" March - Madame Alexander Little Women - Hallmark 2001 Keepsake Ornament
More than 125 years after America first fell in love with Louise May Alcott's heartwarming stories of Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, Madame Alexander brought the girls to life -- dressing them in exquisite fashions that expressed their fondest dreams. The Little Women Journals Play Doll Collection debuted in 1997. Little Women, originally a series of magazine articles, first appeared in book form in 1868.
This Keepsake Ornament portrays Meg, who at "sweet sixteen" is the eldest of the four March girls. She loves luxury and dressing up, so this lovely ensemble is in keeping with her idea of "aristocratic taste." In future years, other members of the March family will appear in the series.
