Sempervivum 'Mike' is a classic Hens & Chicks variety with well-defined, symmetrical rosettes that put on a color show all year long. Seasonal Notes:
Sempervivum succulents grow most actively in spring and summer. Incredibly frost-hardy, they overwinter happily under a blanket of snow. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
The mother plant ("hen") sends off offsets ("chicks") that can be left to form tidy clusters or removed to share and transplant. Drought-tolerant and deer resistant. Do not fertilize. Space 6" apart.
Suggested Use: Rock gardens, trough gardens, wall crevices, dry gardens, edging, strawberry jars, and containers.
