Mule Blown Glass Tree Ornament by Old World Christmas - Animals and Pets Collection - RETIRED

Often touted to be stubborn, mules are cautious creatures and leery of new things. One thing is for certain about mules, they are hardworking! Before roads and vehicles were such common place, it was mules that transported goods and people across the land.

Each figurative glass ornament produced by Old World Christmas is hand crafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creations.

This is a brand-new retired ornament from the Old World Christmas collection. All ornaments in the collection include a "story tag" on the hook, along with the OWC metal tag. When an ornament is retired, it makes them harder to find since they are no longer making them anymore.
