Pacific Plum Fuzzy is a uniquely textured Sempervivum hybridized by Gary Gossett and registered in 1992. Its deep plum rosettes are covered in a soft, fuzzy coating that sets it apart from most Hens & Chicks — adding both color and tactile interest to any garden or container. In summer and fall, it produces clusters of hot-pink flowers that are a magnet for bees.
Like all Sempervivums, Pacific Plum Fuzzy naturally produces offsets (“chicks”) that can be left to fill in beautifully or removed to transplant or share. Cold hardy, heat tolerant, and incredibly easy to grow.
