The red-eyed tree frog spends its days lounging on large tropical leaves with its red eyes and blue underside hidden from predators. However, if a predator comes close, the frog opens its bright red eyes and stares at the hunter to scare it away. Now that is a superpower of nature!

Each figurative glass ornament produced by Old World Christmas is hand crafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creations.

This is a brand-new ornament from the Old World Christmas collection. All ornaments in the collection include a "story tag" on the hook, along with the OWC metal tag.
