Seasonal Notes:

Sempervivum succulents grow most actively in spring and summer. Incredibly frost-hardy, they overwinter happily under a blanket of snow. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.

The mother plant ("hen") sends off offsets ("chicks") that can be left to form spreading clumps or removed to share and transplant. Slow-growing, drought-tolerant, and deer resistant. Do not fertilize.
