Soccer Mom Minivan SUV Blown Glass Tree Ornament by Old World Christmas - RETIRED
Soccer Mom Minivan SUV Blown Glass Tree Ornament by Old World Christmas - RETIRED
The phrase, "soccer mom" generally refers to a married, American, middle-class woman who lives in the suburbs and has school-age children. She is often busy or overburdened and driving a minivan or SUV and is frequently found cheering on her children at sporting events.
Each figurative glass ornament produced by Old World Christmas is hand crafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creations.
This is a brand-new retired ornament from the Old World Christmas collection. All ornaments in the collection include a "story tag" on the hook, along with the OWC metal tag. Because it is retired, it is harder to find since they are no longer making them anymore.
