Outstanding athletes from around the world gather to "take part...for the glory of sport and the honor of our team." This Collectors Plate suggests the joyful procession at the Opening Ceremony as the athletes enter the stadium, proudly carrying their nations' flags.

This ornament is in excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Would look fantastic on any Christmas tree, mantel or wreath. Box shows signs of wear with dents and creases. Wonderful addition to your vintage Christmas ornament collection.
