Vintage Amethyst Glass Candy Dish

Amethyst Glass is Glass with a purple hue. Amethyst glass is a very popular hue with many American glass collectors. It can be found in shades that range from transparent violet/purple to a translucent shade that is almost black and only shows its purple hues when held to the light.

This dish has a very light hue that is is not noticeable in bright light and appears when viewed in indirect lighting. It is just under 5" tall and is approximately 5" tall across the top.
The pressed glass base is very well defined, and the bowl has beautiful, frosted etching.
The bowl has only the slight chipping along bottom edge (see in above photos). It's hard to see them without running a finger along edge to find them.
