Astronaut Old World Christmas Ornament

On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon, 4 days after Apollo 11 was launched. They spent about 3 hours on the surface, gathered rock and dirt samples, planted an American flag and left a sign that said, We came in peace for all mankind. The Eagle has landed.

This is a brand new ornament from the Old World Christmas collection. All ornaments in the collection include a "story tag" on the hook, along with the OWC metal tag.
