Perennials - Cerastium

Cerastiums, aka mouse-ears or mouse-ear chickweeds, or Jerusalem stars, these plants do best with full sun and well draining sandy soil. 

These deer resistant plants are popular for border/edging plants and container plants.  As they only grow about 6" tall some use them for groundcover due to their tendency to spread quickly through reseeding.
