Standing 2 inches tall each rosette can reach up to 5 inches across, Gold Nuggets is a great addition for rock gardens, wall plantings, borders, ground covers as well as for patio planters. Chick Charms are a drought tolerant perennial that is hardy in zones 3-9 and grows well in full sun to light shade. Gold Nuggets consists of one large rosette (the "hen"). I CAN NOT MAKE THEM TURN THIS BRIGHT YELLOW COLORING. IF YOU DECIDE TO ORDER A GOLD NUGGET, AND IT IS NOT "THE PLANTS" TIME TO BE YELLOW YET, THE PLANT WILL ARRIVE GREEN. IT WILL TURN THIS WHEN IT IS GOOD AND READY TO DO SO IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER. ANY OTHER TIME OF YEAR, IT WILL ARRIVE GREEN OR GREENISH.. HOWEVER IT WILL TURN JUST LIKE THE PICTURE LOOKS. IF YOU CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THAT NATURE HAS ITS OWN TIMING, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS PLANT AT ALL. I will have to tell you that these Gold Nuggets really do turn this color. It is hard to believe it is real, the color is so bright and fantastic. I sell these in my garden center and put them on the front check out table, people see them and think it is not real because the color is so amazing. Nobody has any problem paying the high price for these beautiful gems. They take your breath away. My ALL TIME FAVORITE Sempervivum.
