Seasonal Notes:

Sempervivum succulents grow most actively in spring and summer. Incredibly frost-hardy, they overwinter happily under a blanket of snow. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.

Thrives in gritty, well-draining soil and pots with drainage holes. The mother plant ("hen") sends off offsets ("chicks") that can be left to cluster or removed to share and transplant. Deer and critter resistant. Do not fertilize. Space 6" apart.
