Sedum (SEE-dum) aka Stonecrop are colorful fleshy succulents that come in a vast array of sizes, colors, and shapes. They're often used for container plants, rock gardens, border plants and groundcover due to their tendency to grow to low heights and to creep outwards. Besides being drought tolerant, most are cold hardy, surviving deep freezes, poor soil, full to partial sun, and high temperatures.
