- Chick Charms® Candied Apple™ is a delightful succulent from the Chick Charms series. It features a gorgeous pink-to-red rosette that maintains its color year-round.
- This hardy plant thrives in outdoor sunlight, making it a dazzling addition to your garden. Whether it’s the frigid winters or hot summers, this succulent holds its own.
- Hens & Chicks (the common name for Sempervivum) need plenty of sun exposure to display their best colors and maintain their tight rosette form. They grow well in gritty, well-draining soil and pots with drainage holes.
- As the name suggests, they produce new offsets or “chicks” on stolons. These chicks can be left to form tidy clusters or removed for sharing and transplanting.
- Sempervivum primarily grows during spring and summer, thriving with weekly watering and afternoon shade if temperatures exceed 80°F. They’re incredibly frost-hardy and can withstand winter under a blanket of snow. Just protect them from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
